Overcoming the second divide

Overcoming barriers to information access

We believe that where you live shouldn’t govern your ability to obtain and consume information. We believe the internet was founded on democracy

Our Projects

Real-World Solutions for a Disconnected World

Our projects are designed to meet people where they are—whether that’s in a remote village, an underserved urban neighborhood, or a school without internet.

Here are some of the initiatives we’re most proud of:

📡 Sublime

A low-bandwidth content distribution system delivering educational video, local news, and cultural programming over mesh networks and offline hotspots. Ideal for schools, libraries, and community hubs.

🎓 OpenLearning Grid VOD

A portable, device-agnostic learning platform that allows students to access curated educational content on-demand with or without internet access. Developed in collaboration with regional education authorities and NGOs.

🧭 CivicStream

An experimental platform to bring live civic, political, and cultural events to remote audiences, offering citizens timely access to debates, council meetings, and elections—even with minimal connectivity and in low-bandwidth enviromnments.

🌍 InfoSeed

A research-driven initiative aimed at identifying local information gaps and deploying tailored micro-content (health, legal rights, farming techniques, news content, etc.) via mobile networks.

Every project we launch is a step toward reducing the information inequality that limits opportunity and voice for millions worldwide.

Although we are not a not-for-profit we believe we are solving real-world problems and reducing inequality.
