We are proud to announce that as of 26th June 2025, all of Firestick Design & Data’s Content Delivery System (CDS) and IPTV products have been fully launched—four days ahead of our initial estimate of June 30. This milestone marks a major achievement for our team and a significant leap forward in our mission to democratise access to digital content across the globe.
From conception to execution, our CDS and IPTV offerings were designed to bridge the digital divide by providing reliable, scalable, and locally hosted content solutions tailored to low-bandwidth environments. Built with open standards and inspired by the original vision of a free and open internet, our systems support everything from education and health to local journalism, culture, and sport.
This launch also represents a meaningful step toward realising Tim Berners-Lee’s original dream of the internet as a tool for empowerment and equity. He envisioned a web that would connect and uplift humanity—not entrench existing power structures. At Firestick, we’ve held that vision close, designing technologies that serve the under-served first, and place control and access back into the hands of local communities. Our approach ensures that people on the margins of the digital world are not left behind, but instead are placed at the centre of new, inclusive content ecosystems.
The early launch of our product suite is a testament to the tireless effort of our engineers, developers, and community partners. Throughout the extensive research & development phase, we maintained a strict focus on performance, accessibility, and user empowerment. The result is a full stack of plug-and-play streaming and distribution tools that can operate both online and offline, in urban and remote environments alike.
Our IPTV platform supports live broadcasting, VOD libraries, and community-led programming, catchup TV and world radio with full local language support. Meanwhile, our CDS infrastructure enables localised content caching and secure mesh delivery—critical for areas where traditional connectivity is limited or unreliable.
Deployments have already begun across pilot regions in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, with early results confirming strong engagement, high uptime, and enthusiastic feedback from local partners.
Firestick Design & Data would like to thank all our collaborators, testers, and supporters who helped bring this vision to life. As of today, our solutions are ready to scale—and we look forward to working with organizations and governments ready to reshape the digital future from the ground up.
Stay tuned as we roll out new features and share field stories from our global deployments. The Firestick era has officially begun.
